Focus on ‘Inputs’

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

Whatever it is, we are appealing to at least one of our five senses right now.

And your mind is capable of incubating what you experience, through these sensory faculties, to produce a work that you can be proud of.

Sometimes, not all your ideas will be favourable. But at least, you can be sure to focus your efforts on your inputs, to help you act on your ideas long enough, to bring about the outputs you desire.

So if that’s true for you, then who else is it true for?

Your neighbour? Your child? Maybe, your customers?

If you’re under any business venture, with focus on sales and marketing, it’s a great idea to look at this from a third person's perspective.

How are we capable of becoming part of a process that nudges the people we serve to act?

We appeal to the very same facilities that helps us to take action.

A brand can create a visual perception and we can influence the process of that perception through branding; creating tangible and intangible elements that help to support that perception.

Through the consistent act of branding, we are able to appeal to the five senses; sight, smell, sound, taste and touch – creating an experience that works, independently or collectively, to evoke the right emotions and associations with our brand.

It’s a lot to think about.

But with a sound brand strategy and a solid brand identity, we can navigate the uncharted territories confidently – creating distinction and relevance.

Most importantly we can then focus on the inputs that offers something worthwhile in hopes of making our customer's life better.

In the process... we have an opportunity to make our lives better too.
